​Dear Coconino Horse Trials Competitors and Participants, At Coconino Horse Trials, the welfare of our horses and participants is our primary concern. We are closely monitoring the nearby forest fires and would like to provide an update on the current situation. Please be assured that there is no fire threat to our facility, and we are not impacted by the arrival of evacuated animals. While air quality is currently fluctuating, we are working diligently to gather the most accurate information to guide our decisions. At this time, we remain optimistic about conditions for the upcoming weekend. However, we are also preparing potential schedule adjustments throughout the following week to accommodate air quality concerns and ensure everyone can compete safely. HAY IS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE! PRE-ORDER IS RECOMMENDED!!!
  • Friday: STARTER 1 Day HT and Schooling Dressage and Stadium rounds will be available from 8am-2:30pm. Check omnibus for more information. Sign up online on before Friday morning be assigned a ride time for your practice rounds. You won't be able to pay at the gate, so you'll want to pay at the office or online when you sign up on the schedule. You can either pay by cash or leave an open check (allows you to add or drop at the jumping arena). Pre-entry required for Pre Comp 1 Day HT.
  • Shavings are $11 per bag and are purchased via Coconino Horse Trials. Please include in your entry. Pre- orders need to be received prior to Sunday, June 28th in order to be delivered prior to your arrival.
  • Volunteers! We need your help at the Coconino Horse Trials. We know that this is a busy time for everyone, riders, riders support and parents and siblings, but we need your support to put on the Horse Trials. Our sport is dependent of volunteers, so take a look and see if there is a time when you will be able to lend a hand. We will have a Volunteer Area under the grandstands by the stairway where you can sign up, get more information and find volunteer t-shirts. You can also sign up directly at the USEA Volunteer Incentive Program site. Or contact Mary Hendricks OR Meghan Backs and let us know what times you are available and what you would like to do. If you can't stay for long, an hour or two relief for another volunteer is welcome. We really appreciate your help!!!!
  • Camping is $25 per night per rig/tent- if you are camping you MUST include with your entry check. You will receive a camping pass in your packet to display throughout the show.
